Thunderstorms sprang up across the area today. These storms packed quite a punch and have potent sounding thunder. Brief heavy rains, moderate winds, and some hail was reported. Although my area saw mostly heavy rain, some wind, and lots of lightning and thunder. Some funny things about this video. Not only does the thunder get progressively louder, but the last was so loud and close my mail box door actually flung open from the concussion from the thunder and scared one of my neighbors back inside if you watch close.
